About Me

Hi, my name is Megan Turner!

I am a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am recognized as a National Certified Counselor from the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have multiple trainings from the Auburn University BRACE program in Trauma Informed Care, Evidence Based Treatment, and Integrative Care, training from Postpartum Support International on Postpartum and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and will soon be trained in EMDR through EMDR Consulting. I am currently working towards my next state licensure under the supervision of Melinda Rader, MS, LPC-S.

What does counseling mean to me? For me, counseling is a passion in guiding and assisting an individual towards balance in their life. I strive to professionally work alongside each client in achieving their goals and provide a safe space to discuss any topic, all with a down-to-earth approach.

I understand counseling can feel vulnerable and create discomfort - I mean we don't grow when we are comfortable, right? I am LGBTQ+ accepting and affirming. I provide in office sessions in Mobile, Alabama and virtual sessions, allowing you to choose with is best for you. All sessions are confidential and private so you can have a safe space to create, process, and attain your goals.

I work with a wide range of topics.
