Megan Turner, MS, ALC, NCC

Mental Health Counselor

Meet Your Therapist

I attended the University of South Alabama, and hold a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am recognized as a National Certified Counselor from the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have multiple trainings from the Auburn University BRACE program in Trauma Informed Care, Evidence Based Treatment, and Integrative Care. I am working towards my next state licensure under the supervision of Melinda Rader, MS, LPC-S.

What does counseling mean to me? For me, counseling is a passion in guiding and assisting a person towards balance in their life. I strive to professionally work alongside each client in achieving their personal balance.

I understand counseling can be a very vulnerable and uncomfortable process. I am a trained LGBTQ+ accepting counselor. I provide both face-to-face and online counseling sessions, allowing you to choose the best option for you. All counseling sessions are confidential to provide a safe space to create, achieve, and attain your goals.

I work with a variety of topics. These can be, but are not limited to:

-LGBTQ+ topics                                                            -anxiety

-grief                                                                             -adjustment
